Errata

Page 25: This passage from A Midsummer Night's Dream is presented as a misuse of the period:

We do not come as minding to content you,
Our true intent is. All for your delight
We are not here.

But whatever Ms. Truss thinks is the corrected version never appears.
I believe it should be thus:

We do not come as minding to content you,
Our true intent is all for your delight.
We are not here.

Page 42: "However, it is generally accepted that familiar contractions such as bus (omnibus), flu (influenza), phone (telephone), photo (photograph), and cello (violoncello) no longer require apologetic apostrophes."
I thought this was a simple typographical error. However, the error is mine: I always spelled it "violincello", but Ms. Truss is correct. (I probably should reverse the color scheme for these cases...)
Page 157: "The dash is nowadays seen as the enemy of grammar, partly because overly disorganized thought is the mode of most email and (mobile phone) text communication, ..."
Misplaced left parenthesis: S/B "(and mobile phone)".
Page 191: "As the internet is dedicated to proving, you really have no idea who anybody is out there."
Uncapitalized proper noun: S/B "Internet". This error occurs several times.
