Errata

Page 595: Lew's younger brother died in the raid by which Kadarin and his men recovered the Sharra Matrix. It's stated here that Marius was killed by a bullet through the heart.
However, on page 597 the author implies the bullet struck his head, and on page 728 we learn that the bullet passed through his brain.
Page 677: "The great heap of weapons began to glow, reddened, turned white-hot..."
It sure is lucky for our side that none of the power packs in those hundreds of blasters and nerve disruptors exploded.
Pages 687-8: "'I cannot remember your name.'
'Kathie Marshall.'
'Terranan?'"
This form is repeated twice more on these pages or the next. Elsewhere it's the standard form: "Terran."
Page 703: Lew Alton: "Sorry, this ugly mug of mine is bad enough..."
"Ugly mug"? That's a Terran phrase!
Page 704: "...beyond her was the harlequin who has so deeply disturbed me . . . damn it, who was he?"
Hmmm, let's see: unusually tall, lean build, hawklike features, as far as can be seen behind the mask, radiating hostility... I'd say there's only one answer. And Lew apparently never tries to probe this individual to learn his identity. Another example of the selective ignorance MZB uses to advance her plots. Of course, it's Kadarin. And he has the Sword of Sharra with him, and nobody with laran picks that up either.
