Errata

Page 50: "...in 1968, Black families made only about 59 percent of the income of white families, though that ratio was declining."
Wording: To me this implies that the trend is for Black families to earn an even lower percentage of what white families do. S/B "that earnings gap was closing".
Page 139: "...and eighty other, smaller forces that make up about 132,000 federal law enforcement officers."
  Wording: S/B "made up of".
Page 167: "The intersection of that hierarchical theme in U.S. history and authoritarianism came together quite explicitly in the German fascism of the 1930s..."
Extra words: S/B "That hierarchical theme".
Page 199: "Douglas and the Democrats stood firm on popular sovereignty, courting racists by insisting that white supremacy was true Americanism and that anyone opposing it was a "n****r lover.""
Since this is given as a quote from the nineteenth century, should it not spell out the word as it would have appeared then (and as it appears in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn when Huck is asked if anyone was hurt in a steamboat's boiler explosion)?
